Bus lane closures during rush hour

To ease congestion during rush hour, I propose that we close off bus lanes so that cars can use them.

Why the contribution is important

This will help to ease congestion as there will be more space on the roads for cars. It will also mean that buses are less likely to be held up in traffic, making them more punctual.

    I disagree with this idea, i think this would cause more disruption as the buses would get stuck in huge traffic jams, then people would be even less likely to use the bus. We need to be making public transport more appealing not less!

    I dont think this would work. The point of the bus lanes is to ease the congestion for public transport, if people want to use the bus they can benefit from the bus lane that way.
